Our session costs

Investing in your mental health is a vital step towards a more balanced life. Here's what you can expect regarding our session fees and options.

60-minute counselling session	$120 + GST

We currently offer a standard 60-minute session to ensure ample time for exploration and support. Please discuss any specific needs regarding session length or financial hardship during your initial contact.

Payment options & funding support

We aim to make the payment process as straightforward as possible and help you explore potential funding avenues. We want to ensure that financial considerations don't stand in the way of you receiving the support you need.

How to pay

Payment for your session is typically due at the time of your appointment. We accept various payment methods for your convenience, including bank transfer, cash, and online payment. Please confirm your preferred payment method when booking your session.

Funding assistance

Several programmes and organisations may be able to assist with the cost of your counselling sessions:

ACC: If you have experienced sexual abuse, you may be eligible for funded sessions.
Clearhead (Employment Assisted Programme - EAP): If your employer is part of the Clearhead EAP programme, you may be eligible for funded sessions.
Gumboot Friday: This incredible initiative provides up to 4 free counselling sessions for young people aged 5-25.
Primary Mental Health Initiative (PMHI): You may be eligible for up to 4 funded sessions through your G.P. Please discuss this option with your doctor.
TELUS (Employment Assisted Programme - EAP): If your workplace participates in the TELUS EAP, you might have access to funded counselling.
Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ): If you are on a lower income, WINZ may be able to provide financial assistance for your counselling. Please talk to us about how I can help you explore this option.

Cancellations & rescheduling

I understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide 24 hours' notice. This allows me to offer the slot to another client. A cancellation fee may apply for late cancellations or no-shows. Please discuss our full cancellation policy with us.
